For grades K-2 camps offer a chance to explore the week’s theme through performance, crafting, and games. Some of the themes include:

Mermaids & Unicorns
By the Beach
The Sound of Music

Dance sampler camps (Grades 3-5 and 6-8) are a fantastic opportunity to get moving, try something new, and develop your skills. Tween students work with multiple teachers across a variety of genres including some not offered during the school year. Each session culminates in a performance of different dance numbers–like a recital experience compressed into one whirlwind week sesion!

We are so excited about the wealth of class offerings this summer such as:

Little Dancers (3.5-4 years old)
Pre-Ballet/Tap (5-7 years old)
Leaps, Turns, and Stretching
Pointe Technique
Modern, Lyrical, and Contemporary
combined Broadway & Rhythm Tap

Due to the possibility of thunderstorms today, 3/28/21, Sunday Outdoor Musical Theatre classes (Grades 2-4 and 5-8) are canceled. Make-up classes will be offered on SATURDAY, April 3 at the same class meeting times:

Saturday 4/3/2021 – Musical Theatre Grades 2-4 – 1:00-2:00pm
Saturday 4/3/2021 – Musical Theatre Grades 5-8 – 2:15-3:15pm

In Spring 2021, RCDA will offer a limited schedule of outdoor, in-person classes, including a recently added section for Grades K-1! There will be two 6-week-long sessions: March 6-April 17 and April 24-June 6. No classes April 3-4 or May 29-30. Classes will small with social distancing measures in place. Face coverings will be required for all students, parents, and faculty. Each 6-week session will culminate with a sharing for parents during the final class.

Students may enroll in either or both of the 6-week sessions. Tuition rate per 6-week session. No discounts offered.

Students will not be permitted to attend in-person classes at Rock Creek Dance Academy if they show any symptoms of illness.
